Discover Canada’s Historic Fire Lookouts
FireLookout.ca is a community-built archive dedicated to preserving the history, geography, and legacy of Canada’s fire lookout towers. Our mission is to document every known lookout—past and present—with accurate locations, photos, historical records, and firsthand trip reports.
We blend modern mapping tools with old-school archival research to make this information accessible to everyone: hikers, history buffs, foresters, conservationists, and anyone who grew up spotting those towers on distant ridgelines.
